Our Services
Dr. Singh provides comprehensive psychiatric and cognitive assessments for older adults. She diagnoses and treats a range of psychiatric disorders, including:
Dementia and other cognitive disorders
Anxiety disorders
Mood disorders
Substance use disorders
Trauma-related disorders
Psychotic disorders
Initial assessments are conducted in person in Halifax, Nova Scotia or via home visit, depending on location. Follow-up care can be done virtually if requested and appropriate.

Eligibility Criteria
Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) members, 55 years or older
Memory, cognitive, or psychiatric concern(s)
Patients can reside in Assisted Living but not in a Nursing Home or Long Term Care

About Dr. Singh
As a geriatric psychiatrist, I have specialized training in assessing and treating psychiatric illnesses and cognitive disorders in older adults, including dementia.
Having grown up, trained, and worked in the Maritimes, I understand the local health systems and the practical realities of accessing support in Nova Scotia. I strive for relationships with patients and their families that are collaborative and centered on their needs, values, and goals.
